Dark Roast Sumatra

This coffee came to be by mistake one day. I was distracted and slightly over-roasted a batch of Sumatra. When this happens, we will usually just blend it into our French Roast, a couple of pounds at a time. This batch of Pawani Sumatra looked so good with those great big Sumatra beans all black and shiny that I decided to brew up a pot right then. It was surprisingly good! Nice body and a rich flavor which seemed to linger forever and the rest, as they say, is history.
